I’ve been told I’m a double Virgo – which is I guess rare – and that means I’m extra compelled to have things “just right”…. Amongst a wealth of other traits that I identify with. I dunno…..
what I DO know is I crawled through Semester II with 3 As and 2 Bs. I can live with that, I guess. All least most me is perfectly happy with the outcome. I’m sure if I stopped teaching yoga and concentrated entirely on school – well it will happen all too soon during my clinical rotations. Teaching is too much fun, I would get so depressed if I didn’t do it – my dharma.
But the doctorate in my head – my harsh internal critic is not impressed with my grades. I gotta amp up the game I guess
So I have a week off from school and I’m doing cool stuff, like cleaning my laptop’s screen, dabbling in house cleaning. In a bit I’m going to start preparations for dinner. This may startle my spouse when he comes home – you don’t find me in the kitchen much, apart from making coffee (I’m good at that).
Years ago, I was very into the domestic scene, I did a *lot* of cooking/took cooking classes, read food magazines. etc. But when that chapter of my life exploded, I sort of lost interest in cooking. In recent years I’ve been a “Chopped” junkie, but it is only of late that I’ve cooked like 3 meals in a 2 week-ish period. Super proud of self. lol
In addition to cooking a few meals this week ,I plan on packing in a WHOLE lot of yoga and also do a spring cleaning. I have made a nice little dent in this task today. Tons to do, but I think it is time for a 10 min nap and then start to work on dinner. It will more fun if I do a few minutes of nothing 🙂
Namaste!

I’d love to hear what you think :)
