I am HURTING from class two days ago. The instructor held me in the longest Warrior II I’ve EVER held – and I’ve held some long ones over the years! Wowie. Granted I’m not in the best of shape having taken a relative break from my asana practice in order to unpack the past few weeks…..I’ve been doing a lot of Yin and and a lot of arm balancing but very little Power Yoga.


Whoa. I am GLAD I feel so sore. It means that I pushed my body to become stronger. That class made a difference. I am definitely going to class today to squeeze out the metabolic waste that is making me ache :). Today I’m going to go to Exhale. I’ve taken classes from Jay and Rebecca (and I like them both a lot) but today I look forward to taking a class from the studio’s owner, Dee Jay. I have heard really good things about her.
On an unrelated note, I had a dream that I was back working at IDRI and they were doing all sorts of kooky food microbiology experiments. I got chastised for wearing the wrong color lab coat by a former supervisor, who shall remain nameless. I was sorta glad when I work up – but what woke me up was one of the loudest claps of thunder that I think that I’ve ever heard. It was a strange night!
On another unrelated note, I wasted a TON of time this morning trying to church up the blog with a new theme. But it messes EVERYTHING up when I do, so I ultimately reverted back to my old one and I feel rather frustrated. My computer savvy son Fisher had better watch out – the next time I see him I’m going to plead with him to help me out! He is after all the one who got me going on this.
So I’m going to do a little stretching and meditate. Gotta shake off the frustration. I wish you the loveliest of days .
