Ah, the pose dedicated to the Monkey God. Love it so much.

I am grateful that I took a lot of gymnastics and ballet as a child. I had no idea that I was practicing yoga when we did it back then, but it was always a favorite stretch.  Love hate relationship with gymnastics though –  I was scared to death of the bars and the horse. Balance beam was pretty awesome though. 🙂
